I think they actually might get relegated, again. Wigan are signing Pearce and Austin from em. Just wish someone would cherry pick the likes of Mowatt, Byram etc. Be a good pair of derbies next season for us.
Wouldn't read too much in to those player sales. The Leeds fans I know have been mocking Wigan for signing Pearce (especially with Wigan being in the relegation scrap with them), and as mentioned already Austin is woeful. Like Big Jean on Ketamine. I think they might go down, but not because they've sold these two.
Wouldn't be a shock as Redders managerial record shows he's not really cut out for the top job. He will be even more my favourite Barnsley player ever if they go down
Piss funny last year when Hemmsy was going on about how great he was and then Bobby had him in his pocket.
I rated Austin for some reason, seems to have a bit of passion about him. Ever since I saw him make his first few appearances, he's been absolutely awful
Both have been regulars, played nearly every game this season. I don't particularly rate Austin, but Pearce is solid at that level and I imagine both will be difficult to replace considering they're skint and are they not embargoed? As I said though, I'd like Byram, Mowatt, Silvestri to be snapped up too. I ******* hate Leeds.
Rumours Leeds are signing Martyn Woolford on loan. Which is funny coz I know Martyn and he absolutely fecking hates them. I don't think his Man Utd fan dad would ever speak to him again if he kept them up
I can only go off the tweet that was doing the rounds along the lines of 'Jason Pearce is magic, he wears a magic hat, and when you throw a brick at him, he probably leaves it for Silvestri and we concede another goal anyway' They seemed happy to see the back of him! Think they're on a one in, one out system aren't they? I'd LOVE it if they were letting first teamers go and weren't legally allowed to replace them. Just wish Wigan and Millwall would get their acts together!
They said Tom Lees was ***** when he left for Wednesday. He's been outstanding for them, a big reason they're 9th and Leeds, erm, aren't.
You make a valid point. They're all heroes when gracing the hallowed turf of Elland Road, but they're all **** once they leave. More massive than the massives.
