Got earlier train home to get back to Selby at a decent time to take the missus out for some tea and I'm still travelling....

Got on the train to Leeds and an old alcoholic lady spent the time between Barnsley and Wakefield threatening spitting and abusing two young lasses. The conductor was less than helpful and only after the full carriage complained did he ask her to get off at Wakefield to which she grumbled and seemed to agree.... Almost 40 minutes of her lied in the door way then followed before a portly policeman came and removed her onto a bench on the platform.

Not football related but I'm still 40 minutes from home and I thought id cheer those of you up who are sat in the warm with my woeful journey home.......Im writing today off!!!

I didn't even know people like that were still knocking about....

The young lass who got spat on to her credit kept her cool and didn't make to much fuss but the rest of the carriage were disgusted and made the conductor eject the woman from the train. Hopefully she will be arrested and dealt with accordingly but I doubt it.

i doubt it as well Selby, but what can we do when the authorities dont do anything.
iv seen that before where trouble causers push their luck and sometimes the conductor/ticket collector is way out of his depth. thats where the idea of officers or security guards on trains comes into it and i think its a very good idea.
