Foxes chairman Milan Mandaric finally relented after rejecting Bolton's first two approaches for the 48-year-old. </p>

Mandaric said: &quot;Gary left me no choice when he informed me he wantd to leave Leicester and talk to Bolton.&quot; </p>

Megson only took over at Leicester six weeks ago, but Bolton made him their first choice to succeed Sammy Lee. </p>

His first game in charge could be against Aston Villa on Sunday. </p>

Caretaker boss Archie Knox will remain in charge for Thursday's Uefa Cup game against Braga. </p></font></td></tr></tbody></table>

 

Mandaric is a bit of a prat though. Can't blame Megson for wanting to leave - having said that, If Bolton DON'T offer him the job, what position does that leave him in then?

 

Gerry Taggart will be part of the coaching team to take control of coming matches
