PNE *******, they could have all but had us safe and they were poxy v us at Deepdale, as our nearest ground i would have liked to have seen em in the prem but theve fecked up big style
You get this awful feeling Preston will suddenly come up with the goods in that game. Would much prefer Leicester to get 4 points from next 2 games and hopefully come to Oakwell safe..........................for me the Southend game will - and has been for a long time - pivotal. A win and we are almost home and dry. A draw would be ok - a defeat and we may need at least 6 points from the last 3 games.......a big ask. A possible scenario is that if we beat Southend - and Leeds fail to beat Burnley - then a win ve Palace guarantees us safety. I wouldn't have thought I would be typing this possibility 24 hours earlier!
Serves the tossers reight if they don't even make the play-offs. Some at work will get serious greif from me tomorrow
It's a difficult one. The more teams dragged in then the more chance you have of other slipping up and bailing you out after a bad result. However, I think the odd's favourable to us sway slightly towards them being safe. If they are they may blood a few youngsters, taken their foot off the gas etc. If they are not they will want the points as much as we do and we could be in for a right old dogfight.
