An utterly bizarre bit of transfer business that we undertook in January.

Lembikisa is rated that little by Hourihane that he chose to start Bland over him.

Even after Bland had a bit of a stinker (no criticism of him individually he’s an academy lad playing out of position) he chose to play other players out of position at full back.

Meanwhile Lofthouse is starting regularly for Burton & doing really well. They’ve picked up a bit & might even pull off a great escape.

Was really disappointed when we let Lofthouse go, he was doing brilliant on loan. When he did play he played basically everywhere instead of his actual position, including striker... But I think there's a real talent there. Dexter on the other hand, I'd be glad to see him not start again. I'd rather move someone else right back and bring Nathan James in at centre half.

I think we have players right now out on loan that would strengthen our squad. In addition we have added players who have weakened it and increased costs. Go figure. Maybe the DOF master plqn is het to be revealed.

If the root of our problems do indeed lie in the coaching and team selection as many suggest, then presumably we're going to have to get used to seeing players who are out on loan performing better than they did, or will again, for us under the current regime.

it does look suspicious our better players have gone backwards - see Connell Phillips etc. Even Nwkali gets worse every game he plays
Young signings dont seem to improve, compare the progress of Mael with Mads for example and we send players on loan and they look easily good enough to be starting for us once they settle in.
Its either the system or the coaching that is making us look worse as a team than we should do.
I still keep coming back to how we performed under Collins before and after Mladen was appointed. I dont see how we progress until he is removed
About the only thing he got right was signing DKD, everyone else signed has been at best a disappointment

When I watched the 21s he was always a stand out player ,very bizarre to me when he went out on loan.

Probably taking the view we will be able to sell him for more if he goes somewhere with a decent coaching setup than if he stays with ours

We were once very good at developing players.
(Bunny ) Mark Burton for eg ,all our good background staff leave for better money.

Madness. For a business losing money hand over fist it makes no sense.
