    Top man..

"I'm going to share with you a secret," McCluskey joked. "About 17 weeks ago, I was listening to the debate. I was listening to Liz [Kendall], I was listening to Yvette [Cooper]. I was listening to Andy [Burnham]. I kind of reached for the nearest, sharpest, object so I could slit my wrists. Because the the blandness and the sameness of that was something that was depressing."

T'morra going to be a good day... My faith will be restored not only in the Labour party, but in British politics... One decent man with integrity is all we need..

Here's to Labours new leader.... Jeremy Corbyn

I've spent a few years belonging to the "you've got to be in it to win it" school of thought. I'm currently reading a book by Owen Jones "The Establishment" (I'm sure quite a few on here will have read it too) which is making me think long and hard. By God do we need a shake up.

Not read his book but for such a young lad Owen Jones has fantastic knowledge and vision on politics and the unfairness of society.
Heard him speak on many occasions and he's very inspiring and exactly right on many things including the way our democracy has been hijacked by MPs and has been shaped to suit them rather than the people.
A politician cannot be deemed a liar and has more privileges by bending the rules .so much so almost every party are identical .

Did you see that panorama thing about Corbyn the other night? Just proved how scared the establishment is in this country when they are trying their utmost to scupper his campaign! Just a shame that people are starting to realise what's going on and the more they try to undermine him the stronger he seems to be getting.....

They're frightened to death that he's gonna follow his politics when/if he gets in power as he'll clobber the rich and re nationalise the railways and utilities etc and other rich concerns that keep some politicians sweet
But tbh I don't think he'll change much in the way parliament is currently being run the only way that's going to happen is electoral reform and the majority of labour and con MP's including Corbyn are not gonna let that happen as we saw last time it was offered.
