    You're right but they payed over a million for him so I would think it's emptied their transfer kitty.

    Leon Cort was in a deal which saw the ever reliable Clint Hill move to Palace,my point is that was a month ago Stoke have had time to count their pennies since then.

    Who says we couldn't afford Parker's wages?</p>

    As far as I see it, he wanted x amount...we thought he was worth Y amount, and there was a difference in opinion. Credit to the board for not caving in to his demands.</p>

    Wth Macken I think they'd be prepared to offer more, very much a proven championship striker, with Premiership experience to boot</p>

    Barnsley said they were only prepared to offer what they did for an unproven championship striker, but Maken is proven so maybe they would offer more.
