Swansea striker Leon Knight has hit out at his manager Kenny Jackett and in the process dismissed the notion of joining either Peterborough or Northampton. The diminutive 24-year-old was surprisingly placed on the transfer list by Jackett, despite an impressive record that has seen him plunder 20 goals in 25 starts at the Liberty Stadium outfit. Cash-rich Peterborough had looked in pole position to land Knight's signature when they had a bid accepted but the player has absolutely no inclination to make a switch to London Road. Angry that Jackett had, in his opinion, gone behind his back, Knight went on to explain that finding a new club should be left to his agent. "With all respect, there is no chance I'll be going to either of those clubs and I'm not going to be rushed out of the door by Kenny Jackett," said Knight. "Barry Fry was quality about it and wished me all the best in getting the right move. "I told Jackett when I first went on the transfer list that my agent and I would sort out finding a new club for me. "I'm prepared to wait until January because I'm not in any rush. But I've scored 20 goals in 25 starts so I think I can get a move to a club at least as big as Swansea, if not bigger."
I'd Rather...... have someone who' scored 20 goals in 25 starts in our team, then what we have currently.
Ok...... no need to get personal. If you haven't got a mature response then your best not saying anything. I can see why some people wouldn't want him. Afterall he wouldn't fit in with the rest of our strikers. Because he does something they don't. And that is score goals ff ff ff

That's a scary lack of humility there. At the end of the day he reeks of bad attitude. It's a crying shame really. If only he was capable of saying, even just once, 'I know I've been difficult to work with, but I want to do a good job and settle down at a club. I've learnt from the past'. Not going to happen, is it?

RE: Ok...... and he'll really attract a stay away fan to part with £40 on a freezing saturday in december.
Get him signed now. FFS who we gonna get better for 125k? Nothing wrong with an attitude it's all about having confidence in your own ability !
Depends on the service he was getting as well....getting the service that Devaney and McIndoe can put in he'd probably do better.
No great surprise. Get in Ritchie. Knight down one side, MacIndoe down the other, Devaney on the bench to interchange with Hayes. Job done!
RE: Ok...... Where do you sit to pay £40 every match ? True he might not do. But more chance of it happening then the crap Ritchie has signed so far. And more chance of it happening then this ICT player we are suppose to be after.
