Whilst it will always remain speculation as to whether AR would have turned things around this season , it has to be remembered that Davey took over a largely failing team, in mid season and had to do the best he could with someone else's players, and at least has given us a chance. We cannot be accused of lacking commitment after today, so at least the squad are up for it. Patience is a virtue that today's society affords few these days. Davey should be allowed a go next season. irrespective of whether we stop up. The baying masses and a pass-the buck chairman will no doubt smother this logic.
