take into account Rowings interview with Matt last week and Gallys thread from over 3 weeks ago. You do the maths. http://v2.barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?168239-Season-Ticket-Sales
I cannot see many more been sold, a mad rush for last years prices, a trickle for the secondary offer & that will be that. Unless we hit the ground running, Barnsley Falk wont pay £370.00 for one sadly.
smallest average crowds ever at jokewell this season? joke...pull yer fekking finger out donald et al
Not if we've sold 5,000 season tickets http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/bars.htm Interesting that from 1984 until the Premier league promotion season we didn't have a 5 figure average. So we've been living on that Premier League season since then with increased crowds.
I imagine there will be a bit of a spike this week (to what extent is the question) as existing holders beat the renewal deadline, followed by the start of general sale (so people can move seats without restriction from what's left).
if we get 6000 in total we'll have done well. Matchday HOME attendances next season around 7500 imho. Still, tight ship and all that.
As I said when Gally and the club (and many others on ere) were *****ing over the sales 3 weeks ago, we will do well (very well) to shift 6,000. And that is another 1,500 - including myself - shed, as per last season, and the season before. And now the matchday prices have been released, there won't be many POTD supporters to swell the gate. Einstein and his definition of madness rearing it's ugly head again. The club HAS to perform on the field this coming season else I fear for it's very existence run under the current set of imbeciles.
