And only £15 to get in, so clearly the Barnsley public don't value the FA Cup, perhaps we shouldn't be too disappointed that the players don't either.
Or perhaps the masses who probably went and witnessed the Bolton and Derby matches over Christmas thought the result would turn out as it has and have then decided not to go? I went to both and 1st half against Bolton apart, we have been decidedly abject and poor and a continuation of the same old dross served up all season.
disagree totally. the ones who went today, paid to see a victory. lots of reds fans hurting tonight. if that's the player's attitude, they wouldn't kick another ball for the Club.
I didn't even go and I'm feeling everyone else's pain, it would have cost me a lot more had I gone as I'd still be in Bramer's now drowning my sorrows.
I went but can't blame those who decided our players have been that spineless and ***** this season that they didn't want to go.
More than he same round last season. It's new year, people have spent up. And let's face it, the team aren't doing much to get bums on seats.
I wasn't there but surely the difference is that the players were being paid for the event, rather than paying for it?
Players are paid to play regardless of how many turn up so if their attitude is 'can't be arsed' then they should eff off and try earning a living in another industry. Fans have to pay to watch and some of them are sick of watching ***** week in and week out so decided that they'd not bother wasting anymore hard earned.
