This Hungarian is out of contract at his club in the summer. We have paid a fee but that only entitles us to his services until the end of the season. If he does not work out then we can send him back to Hungary. If he does work out, he is in the shop window and his agent finds him the best deal he can in England with no fee involved. McIndoe?

I don't care about the nitty gritty...

Looking at his stats, he's got a good chance of being a key player in helping us stay up.

    Is that how it is?

Or have you just made that up?

As it happens I dont give a monkeys if he keeps us up..loan fee well spent.

I read it that the fee gives us priority should we want to sign him.

I guess he knew that he might be here long term before agreeing to the loan element of it.

    As I understand it ...

He's our player on loan until the end of the season, which we have paid a fee for. Nothing wrong in that if we want his services between now and the end of the season.

At the end of the season we have an option to make the deal permanent.

We will only exercise that option should we stay on up on the basis that I doubt we could afford to pay him in league one (I would expect something of a gentlemans agreement too that we'd not exercise the option should we get relegated to let him look for Championship football.)

So he's ours if we want him, if we don't or we go down he's free to look elsewhere ... what's wrong with that?

It said on the official website yesterday that we have paid a substantial loan fee till the end of the season and have also agreed a fee to sign him full time at the end of the season if we want to. We have the 1st option and the fee is fixed.

If he does well we may have a bargain and if things dont work out well this season then we can send him back. Seems a good deal.

That's the way I see it.

I think he's putting himself in the "shop window" for a move to a bigger club in the summer - but to get that move he'll have to perform for us this season, so getting the goals that hopefully keep us up.

Winners all round - he can go where he likes after that for me, although of course if he does score a few I'd hope he stayed with us.

I have read elsewhere that he was not playing in the first team because he refused to sign a new contract. Surely, he is therefore a free agent at the end of the season so there will be no fee involved. OK, if he keeps us up it would be a good short term investment, but I do not expect him to be at Oakwell next season under any circumstances.

The way I think it could have happened is. He’s talked it over maybe with Zoltan Gera and maybe Thomas Buzacy., whatever those two said they would have said we were under threat of going down. Maybe they recommended him to come with the view that if we did go down and he impressed he gets the chance of another club.

I can’t see either Gera or Buzacy saying that it would be a brilliant move for him and he must have talked it through with both of them as there playing in the same league.
