I have faith in the directors
    But
    They ain't football people

And these guys have to choose the next manager :)S) :)S) :)S)
They need help here, and if I were in their position I would be picking the phone up and asking people in the know who they should appoint

I've got everything crossed (including my eyes) hopeing the choice is a good one

How many chairman are really football people these days?

They have an interest in footbal tend to have more money than us but very few have been involved in the game at any level

    True

But that dunt make it better does it :(
And to add to this, our directors ant been in football for long, so for me its more of a worry
For example, I would love to see Neil Redfearn back at the club in some capacity, but not as manager
    As a number 2 yes

    As I said further down

don't go back. In an ideal world he would come back and lead us back into the premiership - but this is football and things don't tend to work out like that. if he went down and got acked it would tarnish the image of him! Let him stay as a legend!!!!![IMG][IMG][IMG]

    Kevin

    Keegan.

    Newcastle.

I'd settle for what he did there in not too dissimilar circumstances. Im with you though joking aside. Keegan is the only case i can think of. 1 in a million eh. Redders is not the man to be our manager yet I dont think. Although i'd like to see him groomed as a future manager by being a number two to someone more experienced like Joe Royle.

Dalglish did well for a while at Liverpool

but then again Souness was awful. I'd hate to see it go wrong for him

RE: Dalglish did well for a while at Liverpool

Oh aye, King Kenny. How could I forget.

Like you mate, I'd hate for it to turn sour for Redders. I reckon people would still remember him more for the good times though if he were to fail. Like with Hendrie and Wilson. I dont think less of them for what happened after we were relegated.

Dalglish sowed the seeds that Souness reaped.

What did sir John Harvey Jones know about chemistry?

There are loads of directors who have no idea about the industry they are working in.

Still produced one of the best teams of the last century

The team with Beardsley, Aldridge and Barnes were fantastic. It was a mistake when they Brought Rush back
