Let's get one thing straight re: Muller's injury

a) Nothing has been confirmed by the club
b) It is not Davey's fault FACT. He will not have fecked his knee by playing the second half, it was already damaged. I am gutted, but the fact is nobody can say his knee has been made far worse by playing on. It is stupid however that Davey did not have a keeper on the bench.

So the fact that Muller himself says that about his injury is what then?

Davey should have let him come off at halftime.
I would have rather played with Stan in goal , than risk Muller being out for so long.

The damage done to the ligaments WILL have been aggravated by playing on for the second half, I have had the same problem and tried to carry on myself, only for the ligament to be further torn.
So for you to say that is a bit silly, unless you are an orthopedic surgeon then your opinions on this are invalid.
It is down to Davey that Muller had to carry on and jeapodise his career, with 5 subs he had plenty of room for a sub keeper.

Do you really think Davey even slightly suspected a serious injury and insisted he played?

He used the best information available to him at the time and made a decsion, maybe a poor one, but not malicous and thats what he is paid to do.

Dont be rediculous ... Davey did what he is supposed to do and managed the situation at the time, in the manner he believed was best as he is paid to do.

Not everyone is paid to make tough choices at work, but some are, he is one, and he did

if he suspected it or not, does it?? From Daveys post match comments you get a very clear impression that Müller did not want to play second half, but Davey forced him to - and even bragged about it afterwards (" I won")

I´ve been very much impressed by what Daveys achieved so far, but to be honest, this is shocking

Point taken, hand slapped, I was just making a point about the magnitude of decisions in answer to your points earlier
