No matter how we play we are getting beat. In reality if we had not scored a last minute winner at Oldham, who were thrashed tonight, we would be cut adrift at the bottom of the league. Now again in reality this manager is slowly but surely taking us into oblivion. No matter what was said in Galleys good report, it does not make any difference, in the end Our Board have to pull the plug. Come on Mr Cryne, enough is enough. I was going to watch us on Saturday for the good old crunch match, tonight has got me thinking twice, it would be killing to see us thrashed against the Blunts
we lost 3 - 2 , to a team who had just thrashed Fleetwood 5 -1 ,have won 4 out of last 5 games, including a 3 nil thrashing of burton away, only game they've lost is a 3 - 2 loss to Coventry ,who are top of league, how does this result mean we will get thrashed by blunts
Why do you think the Blunts will thrash us? They've had 4 put past them tonight by Shrewsbury. We have played a form team, played with spirit and taken them to the wire. I m quite confident for Saturday now.
It does not make any difference, I had not seen that Crewe had won in last seconds. So, we would have been two points adrift. So again in reality, either the players are crap or they are being badly managed. Make your own minds up.
Simple, these are the bottom teams that are winning. Do you really think that we will beat the Blunts. No matter how we play we are losing, as simple as that. Let's see what happens over the next few games, but I would not hold my breath. We are at the bottom because that is how bad we are in reality
The last 3 games we've done enough to win them all I think.... Sloppy play vs port vale cost us but we played well for the most part so we addressed it bringing in long and white to tighten up the defence resulting in another decent performance at Oldham and a long over due 3 points then tonight we have done well again created plenty of chances and got beat by 1 goal away to an in form team. But for a goal ruled out tonight we would have taken a point and been going into Saturday full of confidence.
The fact is Selby, we did not win, we have no confidence we just deep down know what's going to happen. In all honesty, over the years this must be the mother of all nightmares. I have lost just about all interest and that after supporting the Reds from being a lad of 12
What if we don't? What then? I already felt confident for Saturday before tonight, Sorry I don't share your view.
We shouldn't get thrashed by anybody in this league with the players that we have, we shouldn't be 1 point off bottom neither.
Things are bad I agree but where before I felt the same as you that things weren't improving the last few games have shown we can compete and things are getting better. This weekend will be pivotal for the management team if we lose and fall even further into the relegation zone the fans are really going to turn and the board will have to act.
Selby, do they still hold that auction sale on Mondays, where you can buy livestock and bric a bac. In the middle of Selby??
But we are, the point is, we have had an horrific run of results and performances, These last 3 games have seen an upturn in performances and confidence seems to coming back. I've never known a team get punished for every single mistake they make like we do, but hey, I get it, if we don't make them we don't get punished. It sounded like a really good performance tonight (despite costly errors) Played with spirit and gave it a right go.
I remember Johnson saying we were making mistakes in the defence. He said something about correcting them by taking a "Robotic stance". Since then we have made more mistakes than before, so who is to blame
If we lose we lose. For me it will be about the manner in the way we lose as it always is. Wasn't avoiding the question just having an alternative look at things. BTW, nothing surprises me in football so I'll just carry on regardless.
