Are you saying that Hayes outshone Sharp ...

... when they played together at Scnuthorpe?

If so, they never actually played together.
Hayes had already joined the reds when they signed Sharp.

Sorry if I misunderstood your ambiguous ramblings.

    RE: Billy Sharp

When they ran out of school buses at our place - they used to bring in Billies Buses as a back up.

They stank like sugar puffs & violet.
Only the spackiest kids used to end up in the Billies Buses, as the though kids wouldn't get on.

I sat in Joey piss for 5 years.

    RE: Billy Sharp

Billy Sharp is a couple of years younger than Hayes and is hitting the back of the net on a regular basis. With Nads and Sharp we would be mid-table.

    Really?

Two strikers who can't head a ball or hold it up properly (one of which can't get through 90 minutes without his leg falling off) would get us mid table?

    I do respect your opinion.

In the same way I respect the politics of the Lib Dems.

    RE: Really?

Scunny already turned down £750,000 for Sharp from Leeds. Anyone who thinks we could afford him or that he'd want to come here must be out of their minds.

He's a quality finisher, no doubt.

I'd take him like a shot.
    But we can't afford him.
And I can't think of a worse partner for Sharp than Nardy.

Now Sharp & Steve Howard ... and you're in business.

    RE: Really?

For someonme like yourself who rates AR so highly I would have thought you would have had the grace to acknowledge the contribution Nads made at Walsall and during the play offs.

Nardy seems to have this mythical saviour status at Oakwell and I'm fecked if I know why. I dunno what type of player Keogh is at Scunny. Is it a little and large combo?

    One game.

And surely his contribution at Cardiff was on a par with that?

    Obviously - you can't read.
Your 47 degrees must be in sheep loving or summat.
So I'll say it again ... Nardy is the best finisher at the club by a street mile.
Sadly - he's made of balsa wood.

Maybe your coaching of 9 year old blind girls is playing tricks on your highly educated mind?

    Not really.

Keogh is better in the air & holds the ball well ... but they try to get down the sides of teams & keep it on the park (thus the interest in Laws from Dave Allen - who wants a "footballing" Manager).
Both nippy, both agressive & decent finishers.
Not your classic partnership ... but an effective one.

I think it's also interesting to point out that one is blonde & the other dark.
A bit like Abba without the men or beards.
