Other than the sending off - he was f-ing terrible Man Utd only had to look at the ref for a free kick and a yellow card, sod all pretty much the other way!

He was bad, but to be fair the ref didn't put about 6 easy chances wide of the post.
Can only blame ourselves for losing tonight in my book.

Think the bookings for Colace and anderson were right

Hammill got **** all though, seemed to be fouled no end in the first half

In all fairness to the ref though, the sending off was the right decision

    Agreed

De Silva jumped with his arms all over and Colace was nothing near the ball. Both had to be booked and Neville had to be sent off. Foy didn't do too badly.

    Sorry you are totally wrong....

....he wasn't brilliant, but we wern't, and neither were they, fact is we just didn't convert our chances.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess you would be one of those who cheered when the idiots invaded the pitch, yes?

Funny Macheda had a kick at steele funnily enough the ref didnt see it even tho looking straight at it, and the number 14 trying to pull off the shorts over by the west stand and still nowt.

What has thinking the ref was poor got to do with the invading fans?

I think the ref got the bookings/red card right, but not a lot else. Very reluctant to give us any of the niggly fouls. Lost track of how many times Hammill was fouled, but got nothing.

Edit...I thought the ref was poor, but was fuming at those w*nker on the pitch. Disgrace to the good name of Barnsley FC

    we keep asking...

.... for flowing football, refs who keep blowing for nigly taps spoil the game. It's a contact sport, the refs these days keep in mind persistant offenders, we ought to cut refs some slack.

The ref was poor but no Willard

Dont think Anderson or Colace can complain at their cards - Nevilles foul was a disgrace and he got the red right. I thought he might have booked Hammil for his reaction but he didnt

Dont think he got any big decisions wrong but gave them lots of niggly fouls but never gave them to us.

Didnt help us but as someone else posted he didnt miss 12 chances so we cant blame the ref for losing today

    I agree generally

But at the end of the day, if it's a foul, it should be given unless we have an advantage. That or be consistent and let things go for both teams, which I don't think Foy necessarily did
