Yes I know I've posted on here for weeks now that I think we'll be relegated simply because we've not put a good run of wins together all season and our home record is poor. However, that's never stopped me from hoping that I'd be proved wrong. We need to win at Charlton for obvious reasons, but if we lose then I'm sure Leeds and their fans would relish in the thought of hammering home what could be the final nail in our coffin. So let's lay off the slating for the time being. Yours, hoping that I've never been so wrong Tarntyke.
no realistic chance of survival for me. it's now a case of how much pride the players have in the remaining games. at this rate we'll be down as bottom club
Last season I believed, this season not a chance.no fight in players, club ready for closing for hols imo. Everything was geared up for a fight last year from players 'staff majority of fans everybody pulling in same direction. Don't get that feeling this year.
Yes it's been a disastrous season in that the optimism of us all thinking we wouldn't be in a relegation battle was dashed so early in the season. The decision/gamble to bring in a new manager looks highly likely to have failed. However, until Tuesday night at least, I'll keep hoping that I'm wrong.
Do we have a chance against Charlton? - Yes Will we stay up? - No There's a decent chance my mate's going to drop out and I'll be going alone, so I need something to look forward to despite numbing myself for relegation. We'll get a scrappy win, and if we don't, 4 hours back on a coach is a long time!
