Agree, I remember the tackle if I'm thinking of the right one. Should have been a red card.

Player of the season for me so far.

I will 2nd that. He has been very consistent. Really feel for him missing the city game.

    Quality

Massively improved player this season, his injury is a real shame for the lad.

    Re: Quality

Scott Golbourne has had a great season, and has improved further under FLICKER.

Can't really remember much about the MK Dons tackle to be honest?

The lad will be back next season, knowing he has played a massive part in keeping the REDS in Championship.

Scott : if you read this, well done this season and focus on "getting reight" as we say in Barnsley speak !!!

Can't say he's had the greatest season for me but like everyone else has improved drastically under Flick. Good luck lad, hope he's back for preseason

Reading this thread, it really does make you realise how opinions can differ so much. I know its harsh to talk about it now, as he's improved and has got injured, but prior to Hill leaving he was [insert derogatory term].

He put lots of effort in, but couldn't cross, never shot and often ran into trouble when it was easier to bomb on down the wing.

But I'm expecting him just justify the praise he has received next season and I hope he will.

Player of the year contender is Barnsley's Ashley Cole. One of the best signings Hill made during his time here. He never seemed to be injured or rested so it would be interested to see how many games we've played since he's been with us and how many he's been involved in, as the difference won't be much. Needs signing up to summer 2016 now.

Player of the year for me along with Dawson - Perkins not far behind but not played as many games yet.
