If we can get a good result at Chartlton then we may have an indication of how good we are. But lets not get carried away yet!
RE: Why Be Negative? Yeah we have seen a good start to the second tier season like this before. Infact the last time resulted in promotion and I bet you was as negative then as well.
jpainter bet you sit in the lower tear of Eaststand with all the other moaners, thats the main reason we stopped going to the Well they were even moaning when D.W was in charge. Its Negative and it DOES transfer to the players on the pitch. I hope Davey keeps the lads focused on the next game and not on a League table that means nothing at the moment, we can get a point on saturday, but i think we can get all 3..
I am situated in the East Stand yes and I can be very vocal. A supporter for years and entitled to my comments.
Well said Considering where Charlton have come from and where we have in recent times, a decent performance against them even if the result isn't what we'd want will show decent progress.
Why pick that game I dont see how you can make any Judgement based on just one game - if you did we were relegation certainties after being thrashed by Coventry and are now Promotion certainties after thrashing the team that was in 4th Place. We might well have a great game against Charlton or we might have a mare - one game alone isnt a great indicator of anything. What we can say with some certainty is we performed much better against Southampton, West Brom and Charlton than we did last season, and look good against newly promoted sides Definitely looking better than last season so we have made progress, far too soon to get carried away I suspect you picked the Charlton game because you expect(hope?) we will lose and so can have a good moan on here
We look like a Championsip side. And a decent one at that. Not just based on last night but based on the gradual improvement as the games have gone on.
I just want continuous improvement, and for us to play football. If players aren't good enough I want them binned , I dont care how hard they work or how popular they are.
I hope that Davey is the man to do that.

W e've come a million miles lad get fookin real nobodys getting carried away but we have a team to be proud of and if you are a true supporter i would'nt have had to tell you that.
RE: Is he really a Leeds supporter ? Claims to be a red... but never says anything positive about the club.... Whilst strangely praising the white scum to the hilt.
Btt - well jpainter how far have we come? or does another lucky point not really prove anything? We were awesome first half - best football I've seen us play for years. Not outclassed at all by a team that will be there at the end of the season we have come a long way
Maybe the East Stand's new chant can be.. "Hey, let's not get carried away" "We're a load of rubbish at the end of the day" "Davey, you'll not hear our cheers" "Leave now cos it'll all end in tears"
