And consider Saturday as one of those barmy end of season results that happen time and time again, and I'm sure there are more to come for some of the teams trying to avoid relegation in the last four games of the season. The worst case scenario is that we lose again on Tuesday, the best case scenario is that we win; and if we do, that will be a huge lift for all concerned. And a win on Tuesday together with yesterday's defeat would still be better than two draws. We will have something of a makeshift side on Tuesday, but I have every confidence in the players and the management to get the win we desperately need; keep believing, and let's keep up the support we had yesterday, which was superb. All credit to Chris Powell, who put out an excellent side who fully deserved their win, but even he said that the result flattered Charlton. Let's just hope that it doesn't all come down to a last game shoot out at the John Smith's stadium; I'm not convinced that we could play our passing football on a ploughed field. Yes, it's a roller-coaster, but get fastened in for the ride.
