    sort or respect his viewpoint but no he's made himself once again look a twohat ! shame he doesn't feel so shocked about the money he's earning here and go and play in Ireland

    I think he is completely wrong and while I can understand his view I can't respect it. Of course it's only my opinion but I think if you scratched beneath the surface you'd find a bigot. Maybe he should go and play for Celtic where his views would be more appropriate.

    He has given his reasons & I respect them.

    People in London have no idea what the Tory government did to our communities. Unless you are brought up in a place you don't see that perspective.

    It's good to have educated footballers who have something to say, rather than just looking like ****s in bad "designer" clothes.

    Agree or disagree, it's a free country (not like China, whose arse we are currently licking).

    All he is doing at the end of the day is NOT wearing a poppy.

    This isn't a one off by the way. Also turned his back in a pre-season friendly, while the National anthem was being played. First grade bell. He wouldn't kick another ball in this country, if I had my way. And that's coming from an atheist republican

    No mention of the 50k irish dead from both wars including those from southern ireland who volunteered for the fight?

    Thought he would have mentioned that being a devout irishman so he is.
