Although it was a vital 3 points yesterday, there were still major concerns mainly in the defence. We need to tighten up very soon. A similar defensive performance next week could see us severely punished at the hawthorns again!

We have a new keeper, Reidy not playing and numerous other new defenders and still we cannot get it right at the back :( :( :(

To be fair to the players, it is a new set up for the defence, they have more or less been together for two day before the Plymouth game. I have to agree with you, we should't get to carried away, but the inclusion of Foster seems to have a calming effect on the defence. It's not perfect by a long ways but the signs are there that hopefully we will have decent season.
Once these lads get to know each other and how they play, then i think we will have a decent Championship side. But in the mean time, BarnsleyFC will be giving us heart-attacks, thats part and parcel of watching the reds, it's never easy. :)
