In the whole of the football league do you think would not sack their manager? I honestly feel the powers that be down at oakwell are the the only ones that would wear it given our previous management merrygoround. I could wear it myself if there had been a glimmer of improvement from both manager and team but there has been none that i can see. 3 seasons of no improvement and a manager who clearly does'nt know what the **** he's doing tell it's own story! /poo
Careful eastfifetyke, dont dare to even vaguely criticise or question PC and his blindspot regarding Davey or you'll have the opinion police on your case. I agree, not only the results that should be enough to see Davey on his way but the performances, the lack of any shape, the lack of any sign of improvement and the abject away form over the last couple of years. FFS how bad does it have to get before some people see that Davey is taking us backwards.
Wo Wo Wo there Mario Don't you go blatantly stating the facts about Daveys time in charge. Yes he did get us to a F.A Cup semifinal and thats something i will never forget but the league form is no better than it was when he took over. 6/7 Bad games then 3 good ones, unbelievably inconsistent. Im worried about our fate this season as our away form is still shocking but our home form is no where near as solid as it was last year.
Doncaster Rovers for one Just turn on Radio Sheffield & listen to their fans saying how glad they are that they didn't sack O Driscoll after 8 or 9 straight defeats. I'm not saying we shouldn't sack Davey, because lose at Hillsborough & I will have had enough. All I'm saying is that there are teams out there that stick by their manager and reap the benefits further down the line.
I was just answering your post with a fact I'm as fed up with the situation as anyone - I was just pointing out that we aren't the only club seemingly determined to hang on to the boss regrdless of results.
