in fact any smart tv... looking at the lg 42" 620v smart/3d tv , can get it for £450 from richer sounds which looks a good deal, Anyone got one or something similar you would recommend?? and do i need the magic remote they are selling too?? Ta
I've just got the same but 47 inch. The magic remote came with it but to be honest I've not had the need to use it. Great picture quality and good sound, I've not got surround sound or a sound bar but I think that's all I'm missing to get the best out of it.
I bought myself a 47" Sony W8 for Christmas. Not cheap but I was blown away with the all round performance. Especially the 3D which is easily the best I've experienced. I'd highly recommend it.
I have 55" 660v it came with magic remote and normal remote. I use magic remote and not bothered putting batteries in normal one. its just like a wii controller. Great picture quality, best tv I have ever had. Allthough I didn't purchase for the 3d I was really surprised at the quality of the 3D and used it much more than I thought i would
Is it as "smart" as this......... http://d3img3do1wj44f.cloudfront.ne...65817Z120120727113158000G7IOO84I4-556x371.jpg
How dare you put pictures of me watching telly on the internet ........ oh hang on a minute, that's not mine. Mines got a coat hanger as an aerial
I got myself one of these recently, well impressed with it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-KDL42W653-42-inch-WidescreenFreeview-Smart/dp/B00BV6411Q
By and large, Smart TVs are rubbish. If I were you, I'd get a good quality HD TV and hook it up to a streaming service. Roku, Apple TV etc
Samsung have always been superior to LG is terms of smart TVs, I think they're the only ones with iPlayer, ITV Player, 4OD and Demand 5. EDIT: Seems Techradar disagree and prefer LG: http://www.techradar.com/news/television/6-best-smart-tv-platforms-in-the-world-today-1120795
