    also says despite holding talks last week

    guessing he wanted more than we can offer. Cant say I am disappointed but towards the end of the season when he got a bit fitter he looked fairly decent so had we done a deal to keep him I'd have been fine with that as well

    Me too. I think he was getting somewhere close to his best towards the end of the season. Can't blame him for wanting Championship football though.

    Decent at times with the ball, bloody awful without it. Which shocked me.

    Good luck to him. Wasn't on my personal retained list.

    He was having 2 injections in his injured foot before each game so was never fit, he's been offered a contract but it's very unlikely he'll sign I expect he'll get better
    offers elsewhere
