Heading out on loan to Swindon according to Nixon on Twitter.

Surprised by that one! Another player who should have remained where he was before leaving us.

I always liked & rated Lindsay. But reading the opinions of others on here, I'm definitely in the minority. Not for the first, or last, time!:D

Should have remained where he was before joining us

Good player in league 1, did he not go on loan to Rotherham or did I imagine that?

I thought he was good. Built a decent partnership with EP. I think he’s a decent Championship defender.

I think he was good, but think Pinnock made him look better than he actually was. Don’t think he’d get in our team now.

He was rumoured to be going there.

Bloke near me at Oakwell would always yell you're a liability Lindsay when he made a mistake so he was always called liability Lindsay in our household, although I thought he was OK but Pinnock was miles better.

I liked him too so I’m guessing I’m joining you in this minority.

I think his lack of pace hinders him in this league but he was great during our promotion season.

His distribution is beyond abysmal - makes Marc Roberts look like Gerard Piqué - but he's otherwise got everything you'd want in a central defender.

I'm surprised he's dropping as low as Swindon. I'd have him back.

We did excellent business with Lindsay from what we paid for him, what he did with us and how much we sold him for. League one is his level and he wouldn't get in our team now.

He was a steady league 1 defender who benefitted from having a Premier League quality (in my opinion) centre half partner.

His overall game was alright, but his distribution left a lot to be desired.

I thought he played well for us. He must have been excellent in the Scottish Premier League too, because he was voted into the Team of the Year for that league - the only player voted into the team, who did not play for Celtic or Aberdeen.

I still consider his goal against Blackpool as the goal that took us up a couple of years ago. For that alone I have fond memories of him. Pinnock always looked a class above but for me the partnership was very effective.

I liked him, although he could be beaten for pace, his main weakness.

Suprised, he was linked to rotherham a few weeks back. Not a bad player but pinnock made him look good. Overrated by a few on here think he even got touted as the next alan Hanson on here. And many said he would go on and play in the Premiership. Mind you think he had a few posters who were his relatives who came on blowing smoke up his arse as soon as he left they stopped posting.

Great memories of Lindsay and Pinnock playing well, week in week out, in our promotion season. Only conceding a miserly 39 goals in the best defence of L1 in 2018/19 season
