For crying out loud, we're not allowed to blame players for goals anymore then?

I blamed Flinders for the first goal on Tuesday on our commentary, and put the blame for our defeat yesterday at the feet of Ozzie and Kay... I'm not singling Colgan out FFS.

If you don't agree he was to blame, fine, you're perfectly entitled to your opinion, but I don't see the need for sarky comments like this.

 

Why is it that whenever you change a light bulb, the bloody thing is always switched on when you screw a new one in and scares you to death ???? weird eh !

the diiference its that certain members of this BBS are making a scapegoat of Mr Colgan as the that Scott Flinders should be in goal.

Colgan has dropped loads of clangers in the past, but to blame him for the goal yesterday is astonshing.

Or better still ask our other halves to change it

so we can stand and gloat, as they know what their doing!ff

Well a number of press I spoke to agreed, so can't be that amazing.

As I say, Flinders was to blame for a goal at Burnley. Have I said drop Colgan recently? Have I said he's crap?

I will repeat, again... I have NOTHING against ANY of our players, and anything I say against any of their performances is simply my opinion about the individual game/incident. If I don't think they're good enough, I'll say so, but if they play well, I'll be the first to congratulate them, either on here on on the radio.

I expect people to disagree with me, and I accept it... something which some other folk ought to realise - we're never always going to agree. Take the Austin sending off - some people said definite straight red, some said a booking, and some said nothing.
