Apparently, according to research, "Bees are more likely to land on paintings of flowers than paintings of pottery."

Well that does surprise me! So bees that land on flowers in search of nectar are more likely to land on something resembling a flower than something that doesn't! Who pays these people to do pointless research like this?

    Probably its unfunded work.

For fun at the moment I am playing with adjusting the lengths of stems of flowers to see if it effects the insects that visit them. The idea being thay 'wave' to attract insects, but too wavey and the insects cannot land.

And no one is funding that - except me - strange that!
