Can't believe Ferguson's comments about how lucky we were!! "Barnsley only had 4 shots & 2 were deflections!!!!"

Had it not been for a mad 6 minutes he'd have been on the end of a 4-0 drubbing! What a to$$er!

Jim O'Brien and Butterfield had a go on twitter bout him! O'Brien, deflection. Butterfield, great vision. Vaz Te, sheer power. Davis, amazing finish. Can only count one deflection there you T!T, can't hack losing. Poor management

He needs to put some time and effort into sorting their defence out instead of making up excuses about deflections!

    Well said.... Darren.
We were more accurate. We won. And thanks for calling us "one of the best footballing sides in the division"
Also, please thank your dad for lending us so many quality players over the years

Hang on, his Dad happens to be the most successful club manager in the history of the English league. They don't even look alike, fgs. Unconvincing attempt though to gloss over the fact they shipped four goals at home and his up n at em tactics failed to get the better of us.

At 3-0 I was thinking we'll cop for that when we try to extend DD's loan. Lol, I was typing it up during the six minutes of madness then erm... cancel.

Whilst I thought he got it wrong about Butterfield's goal

I couldn't see any deflection, I can understand why he thought we were lucky, Luke Steele was far the busier 'keeper, all their's had to do was pick the ball out of the net 4 times. The stats say it all really:-

    attempts on target 14-7
attempts off target 9-4 (including hitting the crossbar)

The team showed great character to score the winner after losing a 3-goal lead, their heads never dropped and they just rolled their sleeves up and worked harder.
