her album is bery good....much better than the hyped-up amy winehouse!

 

Not heard much of her until now, might purchase it.

And what musical instrument does she play?

Maybe its an age thing but I think shes bloody awful similar to Dido and Gem in being totally uninspiring.

I can think of dozens of people id rather listen to than "my dads famous and im taking full advantage for a year or so untill I disappear again".

But Im 41 so what do I know?

 

Dido, Gem and Lily Allen........

are all great singers. Cannot wait for the 3rd Dido album and 2nd Gem album to come out this year. Listen to a Gem song called 24. Infact most of her best songs are the album tracks. Nice bit of guitar in them.

Not a big fan of Amy Winehouse but I've got to take exception to this. Lily Allen followed Winehouse on Jools Hollands New Year thing and it just showed her up for the lightweight she is, insipid andtalentless. I wonder how far she would have got in &quot;the biz&quot; without her famous daddy and much hyped &quot;expulsion&quot; from her very posh public school?</p>

 

Same Producer for both artists

They are similar sounding discs - with that overdriven bass & percussion.

I liked the Lily Allen CD (for a few weeks anyway), not too fussed about Amy Winehouse though.

To be fair, both artists are a bit of a gimmick.

Breath of fresh air

both Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse. I would much rather listen to either of them above over rated tosh like Razorlight or The View. It's seems like ages since we had some mouthy take no **** female vocalists in this country.

 

Dont particularly like either of them. Similar poor attitude.
