Letting down 300 students with their once in a lifetime prom night because they had no plan B in place if anything came up.....

Bad for the parents too who spend a fortune on dresses, suits, limos etc for their kids only for the date to be changed and now because it's earlier than first planned some of the stuff might not be ready.

I very much doubt it ruined it for them, they'll have had more time to get pissed.

Erm why are you blaming Lindleys? They told the school that there was a possibility of the event night having to change if the game was put on TV right from the very start. It was in the contract which the school signed. When the game got changed Lindleys offered several other dates to the school.

It is the school which had no plan b in case the clause in the contract which they signed was activated. They were also offered a date AFTER the original so the school saying things wouldn't be ready in time because it is brought forward is just bullsh1t

Totally agree, I gather this prom crap is a relatively new phenomenon.

Annoys me how loads of American words and phrases seem to be in a load of people's vocabulary as well. They'll be calling to pavement the 'sidewalk' next.

And saying 'can I get', instead of 'can I have'

"Hey, can I get a mocha frappuccino"?
"No. You can HAVE a cup of coffee and **** off out of my shop"

    ...little argument with myself there

Mario, YT, JT, we need to finally have a vote about dreamy being in the clique. Could be a disrepute charge here.
