Strange world... just had a bloke do a survey at home and at the end asked if I was a football fan. Apparently he used to be a football league/premiership linesman and indeed ran the line at the (in)famous game at home to liverpool in the premiership. He stated that there was only one correct sending off: pity he wasn't holding the whistle!

Barnard was first, Morgan was 12 minutes later. Shez in the 90th minute.

The first red should have been the cowardly lovely person playing left back for Liverpool, Harkness I think he was called, who cracked Fjortoft on the shin and raked his studs all the way down Jan-Aage's leg. Right in front of Willard and the lino was no more than five yards away and did **** all either. That's where the animosity started and the Liverpool players realised that they could get away with murder 'cos the officials were too scared/***** to do anything.

Go on you tube and enter Gary Willard ruined my club I think it is.

    Our support was immense.

Willard was the most arrogant official I have ever seen.

My mate was head steward at Oakwell that season, he was the 1 who took Willard off the field to safety.

The story's he's told us about the Liverpool players before the game and at half time make me the dislike the Scouse gits even more

It'll come to me. Not Parkes ... big black guy from Leeds / Bradford. Always tell me tales of Kenny Dalglish.
