http://yorkshireccc.com/news/view/2864/gale-catches-win-matches Even someone who isn't really a cricket fan should enjoy this. Click on the link and scroll down to the Youtube clip. To do this kind of thing once in a lifetime would be something, but to do it TWICE in a couple of weeks is just mad. And, as Gale says, catches win matches.

Thank you for that but I was setting a little challenge. You know, for those who ask questions on here because they can't be bothered or don't know how to access other sites. Either way I thought it was worth sharing - even cricket haters couldn't fail to appreciate the skill (could they?)
It is brilliant. Is that allowed then? Obviously it must be, but the ball is clearly over the boundary. The equivalent in football would be a player stood in the goals, behind the line, who heads the ball out and it's caught by his keeper. The ref gives no goal.
Ball has to hit the ground/boundary/stand or be in contact with the player who is in contact with the ground/boundary/stand. While it's in the air it can be caught, beyond the boundary or not.
It would have been if Lyth had touched the ground while handling the ball as it was well over the ropes. But he didn't and, like at Old Trafford, it was a perfectly legal catch. Incredible awareness on Finch's part as well. Like a striker following a shot in just in case the keeper parries it, he did just that and got his reward. Right below where I was sitting as well so perfect view of it.
Wow! That was pretty impressive. The sad thing though is all the empty seats, when there were so many of us on Friday standing round in the rain. Well, standing round in the rain, trying to convince ourselves that the sky was brightening, saying "how much?" at the bar, whilst also being impressed by those little plastic carrier things when you bought four pints, looking for a bar that sold something decent and missing the Black Sheep bar the first time round and sitting in the rugby ground arguing with Spartacus that the stand opposite was deeper than the old Brewery Stand used to be. Didn't see much cricket though!
It wasn't a bad crowd for a Tuesday night. Certainly round the eastern side of the ground was pretty well populated and there was plenty of noise when the Leicestershire wickets were tumbling. You're right about Friday though - a real shame. I was looking forward to my first capacity crowd at Headingley experience. I had a little sit in the rugby stand as well - very impressed with the ground and the pitch. Might be tempted to watch the odd match there when I complete my impending move to Harrogate. Never seen a League game, only Union. How the heck do they keep the pitch looking as good as that? Rugby players run about in carpet slippers presumably?
Brilliant - sent it to an American pal who is a big baseball fan, think he'll appreciate that as well.
