Well with wilkinson signing on loan and Dempsey signing for Huddersfield I think I'm right in saying every player we've been linked with has reached some kind of conclusion: Watkins- signed Roberts- signed Yiadon- bid rejected and moved in Thorpe- gone to Rotherham Dempsey- Huddersfield Wilkinson- loan So which names are next? I've heard a few mention James spencer at county and kelly at Oldham but is there any truth in them? And are there others? Just curious if anyone know of other targets really
How can you be so sure? I don't know what to think of him, I've heard nothing but good things but he also seems injury prone and I dunno if there's enough resale value there for BM
Only reason I question it is I feel what Johnson wants and what BM want are two very different things! And still having a year or two on his contract and being one of OAFC best players would the fee be more than BM and Cryne are willing to offer!

I hope Ben, Lee, Pat & Mo are trying their ****** off to get Waring, Pearson, O'Sullivan, Williams, Kelly & another striker of the Winnall type don't mind if they're season long loans or permanent we'd piss play offs with that squad I no it's a pipe dream but what's life without hopes and dreams .
Not beyond a possibility though to be fair none would demand a massive wage if we brought them in on loan and if they are looking at league 1 loan deals we must be a bigger pull than most of the clubs in the division (without trying to sound like them down the road).
Having a look at our squad at the moment it is thinner than an anorexic ballet dancer on speed. We need to strengthen in all areas (other than goalkeeper). At the minute injuries in a couple of key areas would see us really struggle. Obviously it's early days in terms of recruitment but as it stands we would be nearer the bottom 6 than the top 6.
I've read it on here but I've also heard the same rumour from a lad I know who supports Barnsley and doesn't post on here. He seems pretty sure that Kelly will be signed before the season starts. He is not a club insider but he tells me his source is reliable.
I'm not convinced Kelly will sign up for us. I think this is one that would have been done and dusted by now if true. Having said that my predictions in the transfer market aren't that good and I just listen to Tyke_80 for my info. I do think that we are looking very lightweight though and hope we don't start the season like last time, light on experience, light on players then a rush to sign has beens
