Filled me with more confidence than ******** Ben in the first 10 seconds of speaking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No wonder this blog is mostly discounted, I've hoped for several years now that you are the greatest wind up since Adam Hinchcliffe but it seems you are an actual person...... ffs, your opinions fill me with despair and complete c.u.N..t.
Tbh i wasn't that impressed. Thought he was a poor speaker. sounded very nervous and didn't really inspire me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's how someone delivers in their job and less about being comfortable in front of a crowd. He grew into it
Don't see the correlation between being an amazing public speaker and being able to deliver in a job. Unfortunately, there does seem to be a correlation between how much bullsh*t someone can speak and how far they get in their career - seen this everywhere I've worked.
He did seem nervous but he was speaking to a crowd of people who could be asking him anything whilst he was being filmed answering them. I'm not worried about it as he showed last year that he can get sponsorship of anything and everything which I'm guessing involved him talking to people and being quite persuasive in less public situations. He may get more used to public speaking, he may not but as long as he can do the rest of his job just fine then I don't really mind either way.
just listinening to q and a now , thought he speaks well . Laughing at how funny patick is , terrific sense of humour
Doubt it Don't have inclination for pre season friendlies. ie no pass. First game for me will be League Cup midweek.
He can stutter his way through interviews Gareth Gates stylie for all I care. It's what he does that we don't get to see, that matters the most. He's proved how poor those in his previous position before him were because he's made it look piss easy to bring in extra revenue by getting anything at all sponsored, which made us wonder why others before him hadn't already got sponsors for things. I don't think he needs to go on charity walks or be on Radio Sheffield weekly to win people over.
It's generally an important attribute of a Chief Exec. And a marketing manager. I though he did okay, had a few laughs. He has been thrust into position quite suddenly with Ben bailing like he did. Totally agree about careerist bullshitters, saw it everywhere in the museum/heritage industry. It's amazing what sort of bollock-heads do well in this industry!!
