    I salute what is clearly an astonishing achievement but Xavi and Iniesta have played a huge part in him achieving it and deserve a lot of credit.

    People saying there's no doubt he's the best ever because of this record - don't recall anyone saying Muller was the best before now.

    And calendar year in football means nowt.

    Sorry mate , but I think you will find there are many that hold Muller in extremely high regard in the goal scoring stakes.
    A year is a year , no matter what sport it is, just because you dont like to think about the January to May months of Hill`s tenure, you cannot just say it does not count!

    IMO he is the best player in the world right now but he isn't the best player of all-time in fact I think there is still a little fellow Argie who is still above him in the all time greatest list. Pele still the best for me.
