Also Stephen Hawkings - he would be quite heavy and give me a bad back

due to always bending down to accomodate him. he would also try to out-science me.

even worse than having chegwin stapled ......

In a previous incaranation I did actually have Chegwin stapled to my face - I used to work with him and boy was that painful travelling the country in a van with someone who was cheery 24/7 and smoked liked a chimney!!!

there are a thousand and one chegwin story's I workewd with him when we used to think it was fun to wake people up with a big wayhayyyyy at 7am on the Big Breakfast.
He was so obsessed with "not being recognised" that he used to mope round services and petrol stations going wayhayyyyy to himself until someone recognised him and then he'd moan about having to sign autographs and delaying us all!!

He was a class act .....

No **** showing for me I'm afraid worked on Big Breakfast for 4 years on and off!!!

The dumping by maggie plus the rest of his yarns are revealed in his book - shaken not stirred - probbaly out of print - that he used to write in the back of the cvan and then read out to us plus maggie ( over the phone ) to get our opinions - boy was that fun at 5am!!!!
Bet that autograph is worth a fortune now - put it on e bay for a laugh!!

It's on the cover of my "Focus on Soccer" book for some reason. Full of pictures of Jack Charlton doing training drills.
