he apologised to the fans. need to move on. game plan went out the window after the first few minutes.
he also said that Stones should've been sent off. He left him on as he thought it would be a great learning curve for him.
in fairness to Keith Hill I think he took it on the chin, didnt shirk any responsibility and admitted that its not acceptable...good on him,no feeble excuses....I just hope he can get it sorted.
dunt he think its pulling the players confidence darn when hes saying we played a better team than us and their players are better than ours and then says its 1 game we,ve lost when actually keith you idiot its 2 on the bounce with 8 goals against and 1 for.but to be fair to keith he did take it on the chin but it is him who has fetched these players in.i wouldnt be a barnsley manager with these three stooges at the helm i would sooner work at asda.
When you look at what he actually said, I was quite impressed with Keith for once. No blaming the fans - in fact he apologised to them. Noted that Brighton were an impressive side, and that he has massive injury problems. But here's the good bit - he didn't in any way offer that up as an excuse, and said the eleven he put out should have been capable of representing BFC in a much better way. Even then, he didn't slaughter the players individually, which is smart because the last thing he needs is for them to turn out next Saturday lacking confidence. (Tuesday is, to my mind, just an irrelevant distraction.) I'm convinced that if we can turn out and play like we did against Boro once, then we can do it again. It's the same players. That will be a real test of Keefy. He needs to turn their mindset back to last Saturday - and I think he will.
Lets hope its more Boro than Brighton because we are capable of both performances. By the way your rehabilitation is coming along well.
