live commentry help neede

inspite of me finging BFC
i still cannot get audio on live commentry
audio on every thing else but
commentry
what am i doing wrong
i have windows xp PC is 2 weeks old
is it out to do with java
any advice welcome thanks

 

What happens when you click on the link, Bob? What error message do you get?

 

i dont get an error message
every thing is ok till i go to the bottom corner all it says switch off audio as though it is on but it is not thanks Cazi

 

I had the same problem, but have fixed it....

Problem was with Internet Explorer so I now go in using MSN Explorer, log in to the Main BFC site, then click on Commentary. This prompts me to sign in to BWorld. Ok from then on - no reason I have to go round the houses like this, but it seems to work!!

MSN Want £6.99 a month??? That's odd

I downloaded it free - it's just another way of connecting to the web, so there is no justification for them charging for it. I tried that route on someone else's advice - there are issues with Internet Explorer that means that you sometimes get a conflict with some programs. Seems BWorld commentary is one of them. I automatically go in via MSN now, and it works every time

 

So, what actually happens when you click the commentary link?

Do you have the newest version of Windows Media Player installed? (well, any version after 9.0 should be good enough) Maybe you should start Windows Media Player, then go to the File menu and then select "Open URL" and copy the commentary link there... that might work, I think you should give it a try.

i just checked i have media 10
if they have stopped chatting
thats ok
if they are still on chatting
its not working
every thing but the commentry works
