    hang their heads in shame, singing cheap abuse to a player in obvious agony with a career threatening injury, I for one hope they win nothing this season, utter disgrace.

    Man United fans would have done the same if it had been a Liverpool player who got injured.

    Maybe so but...

    .. they'd have also insisted on compensation payment a memorial service in Liverpool cathedral and insisted that whoever had done the tackle came along to apologise.  Probably boycotted the BBC as well for showing the tackle, formed a pressure group and blamed the police.

    The vast majority of the Liverpool fans applauded

    him off the pitch
    so a small minority misbehave - a huge majority are sporting. Why does everyone always look for the negatives?

    And would it really have been any different at any other football ground?

    Theres no way that they knew the true extent of the injury.

    It was a very small minority, I hate the way just because a tiny group of fans for a club act a certain way, the whole lot of them are branded.

    To be fair you can say that about any bodys fans. the vast majority did clap him off.
    We had idiots making monkey chants when facey got the ball yesterday but the majority of the fans there yesterday were great
