Thats an understatement Being played off the pitch Lucky they have got a ref on their side as well - seems to be favouring them just a tad.
watch for the advertising board, you can bet on lpool v mboro i'll bet 2-1 lpool and gerrard last goal, where do i place it?
Is it just me or is anybody else sick to death of hearing about the "fantasic magical European Nights at Anfield" and ITV spunking over them every fecking year, how great Liverpool are on the Magical Nights, oh the history, oh the greatness blah blah blah They're palyng pretty crap at the moment and they always have to scrape through in the qualifiers
strangly enough no, i'm all for english teams doing well in europe, but i think ITV could do a lot less spunking over Liverpool, they do it every year. Just watch how may times liverpool are on ITV during the year in the chapions league and how many times you hear the same old crap everytime from the commentators
oh and the fans play up to the ITV cameras as well, they all sing there hearts out on a great, fantastic, super, european night, waving their scarves, flags, big hands etc, but on an FA Cup weekend **** all coz they wern't on TV, we out sung the fecking lot of them, even when they were winning
In all fairness Regarding champiomns league coverage - I think ITV and Sky between them in the last few seasons have been fairly even in their coverage of the big 4 teams in the Champions league - Liverpool slighly more than Man U for example as they have had to qualify every season They do over do the gush though but no different to ManU
Just reminded of sitting in The Arkle Pub last season before our match talking to two Liverpool fans (from Donny!!!) crowing about European Cup matches and how one of them was going to leave 20 minutes early to go to work because it would be all over by then.....WRONG
RE: In all fairness agree about manure as well, don't get me wrong I hate them as much as the next bloke but I'm glad they won it last year, I got so fed up of hearing about 1999 every time they were on the tele
They're woeful, and apparently were v Boro too... My manager left early and missed the winner, says it's first time he's left early before.
They need to bring Crouch on Bet Raffa is wishing he had still got him at the moment because the current forwards look as useful as ours
RE: They need to bring Crouch on Just what i was thinking As much as i think Torres is fantastic, he has been poor today, but is that just cos of the lack of service. Keane, well, at the moment what a waste of money. Love him or hate him, Crouch could turn a game like this There has been nothing from the wings. No out and out wingers playing
