    According to this report:
"Merseyside Police said a 16-year-old boy from Winsford had been arrested on suspicion of encroaching onto a football pitch."

On suspicion?? The Sky cameras picked it up and there are photos of him being led away. Where is the suspicion? Sure enough the idiot who ploughed into the celebrating Liverpool fans did a bit of damage to one of the players - it could have been worse.

A criminal conviction and a lifetime ban from every football stadium in the world is only way to stop these incidents. Well, I say that, but these people don't have a brain cell between them so there will be another one next week, and so on, and so on....

Legal wording. He has to be questioned, then charged - at that point iirc it can be changed. There probably isn't, but there could be a valid reason for his actions.

People are always arrested on suspicion of murder - even if found with the murder weapon in their hands, covered in blood and a body at their feet. Same with other crimes.

“There could be a valid reason for his action”. I’d love to hear what that might be!

Yeah the lads will get banned but not a lifetime ban, he’s made a mistake, he’s not killed someone

Very nearly injured two of their players though.

I’m not disputing it was stupid, most likely a rush of blood, carried away in the moment etc……yeah he needs punishing but not for life as suggested!!!

Made a mistake? Ok and will you say the same when some brain dead idiot runs on the pitch with a knife tucked up his sleeve, making for that opposition player he has always hated, and actually DOES kill somebody.

You think that will never happen? I think that day is coming and no amount of stewarding will stop it.

The reaction by Klopp made it. I was surprised Sky showed it because it looked like he wanted to throttle the kid.

Don’t blame him. Perfectly natural reaction to some young scrote diving in and injuring one of his players. These brainless fools have no right to be on the field of play. I don’t care how much he “got carried away” or similar. This kind of behaviour needs stamping on immediately!

Yes a stupid mistake…. If somebody goes on the pitch with a knife, then that’s a complete different scenario!
