firstly thanks to all for the nice sentiments sent to us about Lizzie, our 18 month old Cairn who was spayed on Friday... I never thought it would knock an animal for six as it has done with her The good news is that she is most definitely on the mend, but its a slow progression. She is eating well and drinking well. Her toilet functions seem normal. However she is still obviously having a good deal of discomfort, but the metacam is definitely helping her with that. My sunday has been a very lazy one ... I have spent it up in our bedroom in the dorma roof conversion , I watched catchup for MoTD and the FL show... then had a session watching the "Big Bang Theory" box set all day ( up to season 6) Lizzie was cuddled up with me all day and Fergus our 8 year old cairn was on the bed too he seemed to beguarding over her, but still kept checking on Lizzie giving her the odd lick on the nose... he so loves her. We take her back to the vet tomorrow afterenoon for a post Op check.... but all seems to be going well. Again thanks to all who have sent goodwill to us, it does mean a lot.
one question HR is that serious or an attempt at bizarre humour if its bizarre humour ..that I can handle
Re: one question HR So glad to hear she is feeling better. DO NOT FORGET THE DAILY METACAM !! She'll thank you for it.
she can try to milk it all she can Kev... but you know me, like you,I am a bastad I will have nowt of that... after all ... just a bloody dog innit
Re: she can try to milk it all she can Kev... but you know me, like you,I am a bastad Our two are pining for Laura now she's gone back. It looks like it's going to be extremely cold for the rest of the month, at least. That means there'll be two happy dogs out walking, with one grumpy, miserable, old Victor Meldrew!
