took her to her post Op exam this afternoon... all is well. Incision wound healing well... still a week at least to take the stiches out.. only 2 stitches. I have had dogs go under ops in the past .. but always Dogs... not bitches... My Mum always said that bitches were different.. more loyal etc.... I am now understanding dogs better, Christ been with at least one dog in my life for 50 + years. But almost all my canine friends have been Males.. I took on my Mums dog .. 'Cindi' 5 years ago , that's when my Mum died... I got so much love and affection from her , the like I have never had before.. Sadly 'Cindi' was called from us so we took 'Lizzie' as our first Girlie from PuppyHood... She has totally wrapped me around her paw... These last few days have been hard, but we also have Fergus an 8 year old cairn too... the way he has been has been awesome, he is so obviously bonded with her it was so heart wrenching when I got home after leaving Lizzie to the Op... the Joyous welcome home Fergus gave her when we came back was totally unbelievable... and the way he has been like a nurse to her had to be seen to be believed but Hey ... but they are just dumb animals... just damned dogs.... yeah right .... oh an BTW Lizzie is the spitting image of "TOTO" from 'Wizard of OZ'
