    Like most stuff posted on that forum, it reeks of ******** and bitterness.

    What property/land does Patrick own that he could flog for £20m?

    And we agreed the 75k fee with Bolton for Wilko (he's scored now, so I'm giving him the nickname).


    Some truth I suppose in the Stones assumptions. That transfer will go through this summer I think. Bit of spendo in January for LJ who won't be walking out, but will possibly be leading us out of the Oldham division.

    He isnt going to flog the stadium two reasons incase you havent noticed thats where we play football. And wouldnt be worth 20million for a builder. Could buy rotherham for 20million lol

    Amusing. I wouldn't be surprised if he's gone by January but not of his own volition. Their is clearly money there for players with resale value as the 300 grand for Dempsey demonstrates.

    The story sounds ballacks, but...

    Johnson came here for the money, simple as that. Not to line his own pockets, I'm not talking about his wage, but because he was promised a budget way in excess of what he had at Oldham. He's an ambitious manager, he wants to prove himself and he wants to get a team promoted from this division.

    Take a look around, the squad is tiny, it's full of kids and non-league signings, we're flogging or giving away anything that isn't nailed down and if we're paying more than threepence in wages then we've been had. We've less chance of getting promoted than Oldham had. If you can't see that, it's because you're refusing to see it as it's bloody obvious.

    So, if Johnson isn't happy, I'm not surprised. He put himself and an academy coach on the bench last night. It was about as subtle a message as a brick in your face. The squad is neither big enough or good enough and whatever Johnson may say to the press, he knows it because he's not ******* stupid.

    All I can say is a mate works for a company that the club use on a daily basis. One of the staff members told him whilst he was on a job there

    Load of ****** is the story imo. We bidded 300k for dempsey we had a 75k bid for wilkinson accepted yestdi we bidded 50k for a keeper from brum. We bidded for the defender from barnet at beginning of the window it isnt true. And the people saying lj came and was promised a budget he is a head coach so can see him picking the players he may have the final say but in recruitment there will be people above him id of thought
