Come on Lee get your head out of your ass and change the formation.Tippy tap football is getting us nowhere we need a threat.
    Get back to 4-4-2.
Yesterdays second half performance was one of the worst i have seen all season.Formation should have been changed as soon as they scored.
It was obvious to us all what was wrong but you could not see it.
Give Smith and Jackson a run up front.Winnal is still not fit?He spends more time 30 yards away from goal than being in the box where it matters.
The game should have been over at half time but we played like it was a pre season friendly.Second half a no show and we were lucky to get a point against a side who will get relegated!
The players are there LEE just play the right formation.
2men up front on Saturday is a must.
We have a team good enough to make the play offs.
    Come on you REDS.

In theory I'd agree with you, but wasn't switching to 4-4-2 the exact reason for our demise against Shrewsbury?

Not exactly. It was who was left on the pitch when we went to 4-4-2 that cost us.

I wasn't there thank god, despite actually being in the UK. Couldn't face it after the previous two bore-fests. But if that's the case, once again it boils down to you-know-who cocking up. We clearly have the personnel available to play 4-4-2 if needs be.

The problem was that he took Hourihane and Crowley off at the same time as he went to 4-4-2 and both, especially Crowley, were having decent games and were our only source of creativity and threat - there wasn't much but what little we had was through these two.

Conspiracy theorists may suggest he did this on purpose so he can say 'well we tried 4-4-2 and it didn't work' when fans start getting disillusioned with the way he sets his team out.

442 isn't the right formation, we'd be torn to pieces using that, Hourihane cant play in a 2 man midfield, Pearson doesnt get forward enough, Scowen is Scowen. 451 works with the right striker, put Smith up there on Saturday and see how he copes

There's nothing wrong with 4-5-1. It's just the way we play it. Give Hourihane & Scowen more freedom to take risks
