With the news that McIndoe has gon eou ton loan with a view to a permanant move, and same with us for McCann and Knight, it makes me wonder if we have received/paid a "deposit" for these players? I go tthe idea from another post on here saying that if McIndoe fails to impress at Wolves and they decide they dont want him - we'll get him back possibly out of form. It just makes me wonder if they have paid a small "deposit" of maybe £25k for the month, and then knock that off the transfer fee when January comes? Same with Knight and McCann.

Good point. My question also. Does any money change hands in a 'loan deal' or are they 'just promises if' etc etc.

McIndoes gone, contracts signed. McCann is here, contracts signed.

That's how it works, the deals have been done but the rules mean that they can only be formally completed in the transfer window, but they are done with no going back.
