Barnsley manager Keith Hill has tipped Danny Drinkwater to become an “established star” at United when he returns to Old Trafford in January. The Reds youngster, who is on loan at Oakwell until January, has cemented a regular position in the Barnsley midfield and has impressed his temporary boss. “He's got the talent, but he's got the other things that make a player,” Hill told BBC Radio Sheffield. “He can definitely go back to Old Trafford and become an established star for them.” Unfortunately, Drinkwater was on the wrong end of a narrow defeat at the weekend, going down 2-1 to bottom of the Championship Bristol City. The 21-year old played a full game and was yellow carded by referee Paul Tierney. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-F...ny-Drinkwater-tipped-for-United-stardom.aspx?
Couldn't disagree more Decent player at our level but I doubt he'll even get in their side never mind become a star.
Re: Couldn't disagree more Got to be looking at someone like Cleverly as a yardstick. Doubt he'll get to his level never mind higher. I do think he could potentially be a Wigan/Blackburn/Bolton type player though in the future. Very good on the ball, maybe short of a yard of pace.
