Why ? Are we on a great run of form, are the players that Hill has brought in doing a sterling job? Got to take the plaudits and the crap mate.
No one's trying to say they're happy with the run. Far from it. It's f.cking terrible. But goal was to stop up this season. 95% would've seen that as success this season. And we're going to do it.
Agree. It has been ****ing as bad as owt under Davey recently. But we've not relied on Cryne and doing so whilst ever he retains control will be hard. Hill has made some big mistakes but has also shown promise. I am as down as anyone about how we have ended up but the thing that will REALLY stop me from renewing is the goal posts being changed in the summer again.
But we are supposed to be happy watching the same mistakes, same ****, and a gradually weakened team every week.
Bearing in mind the way we're shopping for players, who are we going to get to replace him? The bloke in the local chippy?
Didn't say anything about being happy, but I'm not going to start calling for a manager's head when he's done a good job with far fewer resources available to him than his predecessors. Given the signals coming out of the club over the summer, if you'd have offered me being 12 points clear of relegation at this stage of the season I'd have snapped your hand off. But no, instead why don't we all rant about how bad the manager is and demand unrealistic replacements like Mick McCarthy? Personally, I'd rather stick with a manager who gives us a fighting chance of Championship football when operating with the League One budget he's been given.
